Our History

1938: Founding of the Hechaime Law Firm by Albert Hechaime

After graduating from Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, Albert Hechaime established the firm with a vision of providing dedicated, client-centered legal counsel built on trust and integrity.

Gradual Expansion over Decades.

Over the decades, the firm gradually expanded while maintaining its family-oriented structure and personalized approach. Many of our clients have remained with us across generations, relying on our deep institutional knowledge of family estates, corporate law, and strategic legal planning. Albert Hechaime was a distinguished member of the Beirut Bar and was honored with the [Order of XX]. He represented major Lebanese banks and corporations in construction and international trade and handled high-profile cases that shaped the legal landscape.

1990s: Expansion of Expertise by Wajih Hechaime

His son, Wajih Hechaime, further expanded the firm’s expertise in trademarks, intellectual property, corporate law, and estate planning. Under his leadership in the 1990s and 2000s, the firm strengthened its international connections and diversified its legal services to meet the evolving needs of businesses and families alike.
